The University of California, Merced has three colleges, the College of Engineering, the School of Natural Sciences, and the School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts, offering 23 undergraduate majors and 25 minors. The school is planning to include medical schools and management schools on campus. The UC Merced Graduate Program offers 11 programs including: Applied Mathematics, Bioengineering, Cognition and Information Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Environmental Systems, Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Physics and Chemistry, Psychology, Quantitative and Systems biology. Learning, social and cognitive science, and world culture. In 2011, the campus was accredited by WASC. In 2014, the School of Engineering received ABET certification for mechanical engineering, environmental engineering and materials science and engineering courses.
